Based upon experience, NWA Yoga School has broken-up the required standard 200 hours of teacher training by most studios into two modules for a total of 250 hours over a full calendar year experience.
These modules are uniquely designed to maximize the trainee/student experience and to best equip them on their journey as a yoga teacher.
Fall/Winter 2020 Module- 150 Hour Training
Offered in-person and virtually.
This module is designed and created for the yogi that wants to learn much more the following three areas:
- 8 Limbs of Yoga
Extensive education and hands-on application of over 50 yoga poses, pose benefits, study anatomy, modifications, cues to use for instructing, and common mistakes. This module is ideal for the yogi who wants to “deepen their practice of yoga.” A large percentage of our graduates started this module with no intention to teach yoga however are so compelled to share their learnings with others, these graduates teach!
The module is ideal for current 200 RYT looking for a refresher course on the Asanas and wants to deepen their mediation practice.
If you want to deepen or develop a daily mediation practice, this training features a 24-hour of “sits” over a weekend- in a mostly guided Vipassana mediation. Not a mediator? Don’t worry, we provide a meditation training program to help build a strong daily meditation practice! Beginning at 5 minutes per day…….
